Announcement for Accredited Media Outlets
Christmas &Tree Lighting Special Press Card 2021/22
In cooperation with Bethlehem Municipality, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the Ministry of Telecommunication and partners, the Ministry of Information (MINFO) calls upon accredited local, Arab and foreign media outlets to obtain MINFO Christmas Special Press Card. In principle, each media outlet shall be allocated a maximum of four Christmas Press Cards. All media crews officially accredited by MINFO shall be shall be given all facilitations required to cover the 2021-22 Christmas tree lightning festival; and Christmas Celebrations upon obtaining their Press Cards duly.
– MINFO accredited Palestinian and foreign Media Outlets working for Arab and foreign media outlets shall provide a copy of their passport first page and the page verifying last entry to the country, recent personal photo, and a letter of accreditation duly addressed to the deputy minister, Ministry of Information, Palestine in addition to a copy of a valid MINFO Press card for non-visiting journalists.
– MINFO accredited local media Palestinian outlets shall provide MINFO with a letter of accreditation for its working team, a copy of a recent personal photo and the Christmas Press Card Application Form.
– Interested journalists are encouraged to fill in the MINFO Christmas Special Press Card form. The form can be electronically retrieved from the MINFO official website www.minfo.ps, else, journalists are advised to visit MINFO Press office in person.
– SNG vehicles must obtain the Ministry of Telecommunication Satellite Broadcasting license; SNG vehicles will not be allowed to enter the Church of Nativity Manger Square unless the license is obtained.
– PBC shall have the exclusive coverage of the 2021/22 Christmas celebrations, for more information, feel free to contact the Engineering Dept. PBC.
– MINFO Christmas Special Press Card will be issued at the MINFO headquarter, Ramallah from 20/11/2021 until Dec.20, 2021. Under exceptions and in special cases, the special press card can be obtained from MINFO Christmas Media Center, Peace Center, Ground floor, Church of Nativity Manger Square, Bethlehem
